The summer riding season kicks into high gear in just a few days with the 102nd Laconia Motorcycle Week June 14-22, 2025. Yep, celebrating 102 years of riding two wheels, Laconia is the oldest motorcycle rally in America. And here are a few of our recommendations.
Weirs Beach is the heart of the event with live music, food & drink and plenty of vendors. The collection of custom motorcycles parked along Lakeside Avenue comprises an impromptu bike show in itself
In Laconia proper, the High Octane Saloon offers a collection of bands playing each day of Bike Week along with multiple biker contests stuffed between music sets.
A short ride north along the shores of Meredith Bay will take you to Laconia Harley-Davidson for daily rides, entertainment and the latest rally merch.
Bentley’s Saloon in Arundel, ME makes for an afternoon getaway to enjoy some good food and the chance to brag about cruising into Maine. Don’t miss a ride on the pig.
The highest mountain in northeastern North America, exploring the majesty of Mount Washington is best accomplished aboard two wheels.
With its many scenic overlooks, the Kancamagus Highway along Rt. 112 in the White Mountains rates high on motorcyclists’ must-do list. (Don’t neglect a side trip along Bear Notch Rd. off the Kanc.)
The United States Classic Racing Association is back with vintage machines competing against the clock on the site of the original 1916 hill climb on June 17th.
And the Gunstock Amateur Hill Climb returns to Gunstock Mountain Resort on Wednesday, June 18 along with a motorcycle stunt show.
