47th Temple All-Harley Drags: Why This Epic Motorcycle Bash Will Blow Your Mind
New Owner Lauren "Sissy" Kribbs Revs Up Tradition with a Fresh Twist at Little River Dragway
By Robert Filla
Buckle up, gearheads, because the 47th Annual Temple All-Harley Drags is roaring into Temple, Texas, on September 12-14, 2025, and it’s gonna be one helluva ride! Born in 1978 when a Harley dealership sales manager rented Little River Dragway for a wild party with exhibition races and a wheelie contest gone hilariously wrong, this iconic event is now the longest-running all-Harley drag race in Texas. And this year, it’s got a new spark plug: Lauren “Sissie” Kribbs, a badass Texan shaking up the scene with her company, Sissie’s Miraculous Racing & Events.
In an exclusive sit-down with 2 Wheel Media, Kribbs spilled the beans on her plans to supercharge the Temple All-Harley Drags and the Race of Honor while keeping the soul of motorcycle drag racing alive. “We’re blending the grit of tradition with a fresh vibe to hook a younger crowd,” Kribbs said. Think high-octane races, better music, killer vendors, and family-friendly fun that’ll make you feel the thunder of Harley-Davidson horsepower in your bones.
From Wrench to Promoter: Who Is Sissie Kribbs?
Lauren “Sissie” Kribbs isn’t just another face in the crowd—she’s a native Texan with motor oil in her veins. A former co-owner of a Houston bike shop, she’s no stranger to wrenching on bikes and is currently building a 1979 750cc chopper that’s bound to turn heads. Introduced to drag racing in 2011 by her godfather, legendary racer Sambo Mares, Kribbs fell hard for the sport at Little River Dragway. “The fuel, the noise, the energy—it hit me like a lightning bolt,” she recalls. “I knew this was my calling.” Since taking the reins in 2024, she’s been hell-bent on keeping the Harley-Davidson drag racing legacy alive while drawing in a new generation of fans.

Revving Up the Future Without Losing the Past
Motorcycle drag racing in Texas has had its ups and downs, with attendance swings threatening its survival. Kribbs is tackling that head-on. “We’re honoring the OGs like Sambo while cranking up the excitement,” she says. Her game plan? Stronger fan engagement, a killer lineup of music and vendors, and contests run by Grove Rat Racing’s William McNally that keep the crowd buzzing between rounds. She’s also got the V-Twin Racing Association (VTRA) and Horny Toad Harley-Davidson in her corner, plus sponsors like Greening Law PC and ProLift Garage Doors to keep the event firing on all cylinders.
Why You NEED to Be at the 47th Texas All-Harley Drags
In Sissie’s own words: “Come raise some hell with us! This isn’t just racing—it’s about freedom, rebellion, and the raw spirit of motorcycle culture. Bring your friends, your family, and soak in the fuel, the thunder, and the adrenaline.” Whether you’re a die-hard racer, a weekend rider, or just curious, the Temple Harley Drags and Race of Honor promise a weekend of heart-pounding action and community vibes.
Kribbs is carrying the torch for a sport that’s more than just a race—it’s a way of life. “I want the next generation to feel the magic I felt,” she says. And with her passion and vision, the future of Texas motorcycle drag racing looks brighter than a chrome tailpipe in the sun.
